Origins and Expertise

Establishment of Aldi Custom Metalwork LLC

Aldi Custom Metalwork LLC (ACMLLC) was formed in June 2024 by Vincent Aldi. The shop represents the culmination of a continually evolving dream and reflects Vincent’s unwavering commitment to acquiring knowledge and mastering new skills. His journey began with the ambition of becoming a motorsports mechanic at just eighteen years old, and it led him to pursue comprehensive training and hands-on experience in MIG and TIG welding fabrication, CNC machining, and engineering. Vincent has earned three trade certifications in Automotive High-Performance Powertrains, Motorsports Chassis Fabrication, and Precision Tooling and Machining.

Vinny’s Professional Journey and Skillset

Throughout his career, Vinny has worked on GT, open-wheel, and prototype race cars, as well as CNC mills, CNC lathes, and CNC Swiss lathes. He has also developed strong computer skills, utilizing CAD and CAM software. His time with an R&D engineering company in Connecticut enabled him to fully apply his expertise and experience, allowing him to participate in all aspects of research and development engineering. This role was a testament to the years of dedication he invested in honing his craft.

A Turning Point and Founding the Shop

The loss of Vinny’s father to stage 4 cancer prompted a significant life change. He chose to return to the capital region to be closer to his mother. Although he could have pursued a traditional job, Vinny was determined to realize his long-standing dream of owning his own shop. Confident in his skills and his ability to solve complex manufacturing problems, particularly in machining, he made the bold decision to invest all his resources into establishing Aldi Custom Metalwork LLC.

The Vision for Aldi Custom Metalwork LLC

Aldi Custom Metalwork LLC embodies Vinny’s long-term aspiration: to create a workspace that allows him to perform the work he loves while enjoying life to its fullest.
